Knudson For Governor Campaign Opens Headquarters

Sioux Falls, S.D. - Dave Knudson has officially opened new headquarters for his gubernatorial campaign in Sioux Falls and tapped Jim Hagen as his campaign manager.

"Jim is an incredible asset to my campaign and brings a political skill-set second to none," Knudson said. "He has keen insights and a passion for South Dakota."

Hagen, who hails from Sisseton and Aberdeen, is well-known in Republican politics in South Dakota. He was chief of staff and a top aide for Gov. Bill Janklow and managed Janklow's successful gubernatorial and congressional campaigns. He also served as Secretary of the Department of Tourism and State Development for the Rounds/Daugaard administration.  He is a graduate of Aberdeen Central High School and the University of Southern California.

“I am honored to help Dave in his bid to be our new governor.  I have seen, first-hand, what it takes to be an effective chief executive for this state and I can flat tell you that Dave Knudson is the right person for the job.  He is a problem solver, and he isn’t afraid to tackle tough issues.  He will provide the strong, conservative leadership – especially on budgetary matters – that our state so desperately needs now.”

The Knudson for Governor headquarters is located at 715 S. Minnesota Ave. in Sioux Falls. The mailing address is PO Box 2170, Sioux Falls, SD 57101.
